You don’t need to have all the answers.
But you can learn to trust yourself.
Maybe parenting your daughter has started to feel harder than you expected.
You love her fiercely and want to do the right thing, but lately you find yourself questioning yourself more and more.
Should I say yes or no?
Am I being too strict - or not strict enough?
Should I step in or let her figure this out herself?
How do I hold a boundary without it turning into an argument?
What do I say when she's upset and nothing I say seems to help?
Maybe you've found yourself walking on eggshells, trying not to say the wrong thing.
Or perhaps you react in the moment - get angry, raise your voice, panic or try to fix everything - and afterwards think:
Why did I handle it like that?
You want your daughter to know that she can come to you about anything.
But sometimes the fear of getting it wrong is getting in the way of being the calm, safe person you want to be for her.
Underneath it all, you just want to stop feeling like you’re failing as a mother.
What if parenting could feel different?
Imagine not needing to ask everyone else what they would do before trusting your own decision.
Imagine being able to pause when something happens rather than immediately reacting from fear.
Imagine setting a boundary and knowing why it's important to you - even if your daughter doesn't like it.
Imagine being able to listen when she tells you something difficult without your own fear taking over.
Imagine feeling confident enough to give her the freedom to grow while knowing when you need to step in and be the parent.
Imagine no longer feeling you’re failing as a parent.
And imagine your daughter knowing:
“I can come to Mom with this.”
Not because you always say the perfect thing.
But because she feels safe enough to be honest with you.
That's the kind of relationship we're working towards.
Hi, my name is Melissa
There was a time when I felt so angry and frustrated trying to be the "perfect" parent that I thought I could explode.
I've always loved my girls fiercely. I wanted to protect them, help them and have the kind of relationship where they knew they could come to me about anything. But when things got difficult, worry and fear could quickly turn into frustration and anger.
And I realised - I didn't want to pass that anger on to my girls. Something had to change.
The change came when I stopped focusing only on what was happening with my daughters and started looking at what was happening within me.
I began to understand my own fears, beliefs, reactions and patterns. I learned to pause instead of immediately reacting, to recognise when fear was taking over and, little by little, to trust myself more.
I realised I couldn't control every situation my daughters would face or every choice they would make.
But I could choose how I showed up.
That's why I've built my 8-week coaching program - to give other moms the space and support to look beneath the worry, fear, anger and second-guessing and understand what's happening within them.
Not so I can tell you how to parent your teenager.
But so you can develop the self-trust, awareness and confidence to feel calmer, clearer and more confident in your parenting.
This work starts with you
I don't coach you by telling you how to parent your daughter.
There isn't one set of rules that will work for every mom, every teenager or every family.
Instead, our work focuses on you.
Together, we look at the beliefs, fears and patterns that may be influencing how you parent.
We explore what's happening when you react rather than respond.
We look at boundaries - not simply what rules you should have, but what matters to you and why.
And we work on rebuilding trust in yourself so that you're no longer constantly looking outside yourself for reassurance that you're doing it right.
Because when you change the way you show up, something else can begin to change too:
the relationship between you and your daughter.
My 8-Week 1:1 Coaching Program
Over eight weeks, we'll work together privately, one-to-one.
Each week we'll explore a different area designed to help you understand yourself more deeply and become more intentional about how you want to show up - as a woman and as a mother.
Our work will include areas such as:
Vision - getting clear on the relationship you want with your daughter and how you want to feel within yourself.
Beliefs - uncovering some of the beliefs that may be driving your fears, reactions and choices.
Self-worth - exploring where you may be looking outside yourself for reassurance or validation.
Boundaries - becoming clearer about what's important to you and learning to hold boundaries without allowing fear or guilt to make the decision for you.
Choice - recognising where you have more choice than you may realise, particularly in how you respond.
Self-confidence - strengthening your ability to trust yourself and your decisions.
This isn't about becoming a different person in eight weeks.
It's about becoming more aware of who you already are - and learning to parent from that place rather than from fear.
What I want for you
By the end of our work together, my hope is that you don't need me to tell you what to do.
Quite the opposite.
I want you to feel better able to ask yourself:
What feels right for me here?
I want you to understand your own reactions more clearly.
To recognise when fear is taking over.
To feel more confident holding a boundary.
To pause before reacting.
To trust yourself to make decisions for your family.
And to feel more able to stay connected to your daughter while allowing her to become more of who she is.
That's what I mean by calmer, clearer and more confident parenting.
Is this for you?
This coaching is a good fit if you're a mom of a tween or teen daughter and you're tired of constantly questioning whether you're getting it right.
You don't need to be in crisis.
You don't need to have a "problem teenager."
And your daughter doesn't need to take part in the coaching.
This is a space for you.
A place to understand what's happening beneath your own reactions, reconnect with yourself and become more intentional about the kind of mother you want to be.
This isn’t for you if…
You’re looking for a road map or blueprint to ‘fix’ things with your child.
You’re not willing to look inwards to find the solutions you’re looking for in your family.
You think this is all about your child and their behaviour, without acknowledging the role you can play in building a better relationship together.
There’s a reason you found me. It might be because…
Of a particularly painful argument or emotional blow-up with your teen
You’re feeling ignored, disrespected, or shut out by your child
There’s been a moment where you realise nothing you are doing is changing the pattern
Your child is experiencing increased anxiety symptoms and now is the time to start doing something to help
You’ve hit a breaking point where guilt and exhaustion outweigh your coping ability and you know something needs to shift
You’re seeing other mothers appear calm and connected and feel triggered by comparison and self-doubt
Whatever your reason, this is your space to start taking action towards change, from the inside out.

What moms say about working with me
Michelle
“Since working with Melissa, I’m calmer, more at peace and more aware. I’m better able to pause before reacting, maintain boundaries and choose connection over correction - especially with my children.
Melissa creates such a safe, supportive and welcoming space. Her gentle and thoughtful questions helped me recognise where I could make changes, and I’ve already noticed improvements in my relationships and other areas of my life.”
Debora
“Melissa was such a calm and soothing coach. She really helped support me in exploring the difficult parts of myself and my life and encouraged me to make a few life changes that I had been afraid to act upon. I only wish we had more time together, as I feel there is a lot more to explore in depth. It was an honor to work every week with Melissa, and she had a few great perspectives on my work and self worth that helped me to look at my past in a more positive light.”
Julie
“I can't recommend Melissa highly enough! I was looking for answers with regard to my career, but Melissa helped me uncover so much more! The way she helps you find your own answers, in a supportive and helpful manner, is just fabulous! There are things we talked about that I didn't even expect to arise, it's crazy how you hold onto things from 35+ years ago! If you're hesitating in doing this, don't! You won't regret it!”

No. You won't be expected to explore anything you're uncomfortable with.
My coaching is primarily focused on helping you move forward and make the changes you want in your life.
Sometimes we may briefly look at past experiences to understand where certain beliefs, fears or patterns began and how they might still be influencing you today.
But the focus isn't on revisiting the past. It's on developing greater awareness, learning to trust yourself and choosing how you want to move forward.
You always have a choice about what you share and explore.
-
We'll meet once a week on Zoom for 60–75 minutes.
Between sessions, I'll invite you to read a short chapter (usually around nine pages), or listen to it on Audible if you prefer.
You'll also have small actions or reflections to explore during the week. These don't need to take hours. Some might take just a few minutes.
The important thing isn't how much time you spend. It's your willingness to bring what you're learning into everyday life.
-
I understand. Between family, work and everything else, finding time for yourself can feel almost impossible.
Interestingly, being busy is something we may explore during our coaching. Sometimes we're so used to doing everything that we've forgotten what it feels like to stop.
This isn't about adding more pressure to your week. It's about creating some space for yourself and discovering what really needs your time and energy.
-
I understand that private coaching is an investment, and it may not be the right time financially.
-
There's no guarantee that coaching will bring about a particular outcome, because everyone's experience is different.
What matters is your willingness to be curious about yourself, explore your beliefs and reactions, and try making small changes in your everyday life.
You don't need to have everything figured out before we begin.
-
You might be waiting until life settles down, until you have more time or until you're certain this is the right decision.
But sometimes that perfect moment never arrives.
You don't have to feel completely ready. You just need to be open to exploring what might be possible.
And if you're unsure, we can talk it through during a free 20-minute chat, with no pressure or obligation.

No. The coaching is for you.
We focus on helping you understand your own reactions, beliefs, fears and patterns so you can feel calmer and more confident in how you parent.
When you begin changing how you respond, it can create space for your relationship with your daughter to change too.
